Saskatchewan's online options are the thinnest of any populated province.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation runs Sport Select in Saskatchewan, but the online sports product is limited. Kahnawake-licensed operators fill the gap for most serious Saskatchewan bettors.
Who regulates online betting in Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA), with Sport Select operated by WCLC.
The current situation
Sport Select is the WCLC's sports betting product across Saskatchewan and the three territories. It is available at retail across the province and online through PlaySask.ca, but the online product is limited compared to PROLINE+ or PlayNow. Live betting is not available, and market depth is thin.
In 2024, Saskatchewan First Nations negotiated a competitive gaming framework with the province that could bring private operators to the market. As of August 2026, that framework is being finalised but has not launched. The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is expected to play a role.
Because Sport Select's online product is limited, most Saskatchewan bettors who want a proper sportsbook use Sports Interaction or another Kahnawake-licensed book. Offshore operators are also common. Enforcement against players has not occurred.
